Cape Codders Committee to help the ravages of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands

Many of us were inspired watching Carmen Yulin Cruz, the Mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico who was living in a shelter with her whole family and called on all of us to please do something to stop the dying of her citizens, in nursing homes, on dialysis, and desperate folks with diabetes.

Many millions mostly poor without refrigeration, insulin, oxygen or air conditioning.

The death toll is still unknown! The Mayor put out a national call for help for her citizens NOW! That's what we are responding to. Also we were equally inspired by Cape Cod and Puerto Rico served airways, Cape Air, and employee owned company who offered a crowdfunding 20 some days ago with a goal of $50,000.00, reached $118,000.00, by less than 225 contributors which was more than doubled the amount!

I thought what if we could  team up with an worthy  national organization like Interfaith Power & Light which can help us reach 100's of communities of faith, and promote the proven concept from one of our channel solar partners, New Age Solar,  has two Mighty Boxes, at a cost of $14, 500.00 each​ and  are ready for deployment anywhere including Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

Our hope is to have this administered through a crowdfunding raising source, that we could offer of technology transfer  or TOT which New Age Solar has been working on since even before Hurricane Sandy's wake up event. 

Owners Jerry Sorgento and his wife Rosalie, have invested  their own money in this project with 2 Mighty Boxes available and with 8 ready for ramp up when funds are available! 
Let's get these two Mighty Boxes to Puerto Rico ASAP!

Cape Air's  with  @100 employees in Puerto Rico were in dire need of help as well, and I understand that the Cape Air team at the company headquarters in Hyannis ​has been organizing relief efforts, including sending generators and emergency relief from the island of Cape Cod to the island of Puerto Rico.

Here is the effect of that great effort less than 3 weeks out.
